Boeing’s New B-737MAX Aircraft

4 4 January 8, 2012 in Blog

Boeing’s introduction of the new B-737 MAX, which is a advanced version of the B-737, has a more fuel-efficient engine.

This is just one reason Boeing orders for new aircraft have risen sharply recently. According to the company, the commercial aircraft orders totalled 805 for 2011.  In 2010, 530 aircraft were ordered from Boeing. Boeing also said it’s B-777 wide bodied jumbo jet has led orders for two-aisle aircraft; it set a new record with 200 orders for the B-777.

Boeing, along with Airbus, the European consortium, produce most of the large commercial aircraft in the world.

You may find this very interesting, if your goal is to be a pilot.  More aircraft ordered and brought on line mean more pilots are needed. What are you waiting for?  It’s a new year. Start your flight training now. To find out more, see www.pea.com.
