Brazil Airline Industry Experiencing More Growth
According to the publication Aviaton Today, aircraft manufacturer Airbus has forecasted a demand for 1,110 more aircraft in Brazil in the next 18-19 years.
This was ispredicted in Airbus’ latest global market forecast (GMF) for Brazil, estimating that the country will require 1,060 new aircraft over the next 20 years.
According to Airbus, Brazil will require 700 single-aisle, 310 twin-aisle and 50 very large aircraft at a market value of nearly US$161 billion.
Additionally, the manufacturer said Brazil’s domestic air traffic market has already doubled since 2006, making it the fourth largest passenger traffic market in the world.
In September of this year, Airbus released a GMF which estimated demand for more than 28,000 new passenger aircraft worldwide, to keep pace with passenger growth in the next 20 years.
