Cessna to Begin Delivery of Its Newest Single Engine Aircraft

Recently placing an order for 10 new Cessna C-162 SkyCatcher aircraft, Phoenix East has been notified that deliveries of this new aircraft are expected to begin the end of this year.
The Model C-162 is a two-place, single-engine piston, high-wing aircraft in the LSA category, defined as an aircraft with a gross weight less than 1,320 pounds and a top speed of 120 knots. LSA are built to ASTM International standards and bult by Shenyang Aircraft Company (SAC) in Shenyang, China. SAC will integrate the U.S. engine (Continental O-200D 100-ph air-cooled, carbureted engine) and U.S. avionics and fabricate the fuselage.
