Do You Know About Commercial Aircraft Safety?

Members of commerical aviation’s trade group, the International Air Transport Association, must abide by safety rules to maintain membership.  The association has 251 commerical airline members, all of whom have to submit to an extensive safety audit. These audits involve five days of inspections by a six-member team. Any finds must be addressed, and there are follow-up audits.
