Tuesday, March 06, 2012
Emirates Airlines is the largest B777 jumbo jet customer for Boeing Company. To commemorate this, Emirates will be accepting delivery on Boeing's milestone 1000th B777.
Emirates owns 102 B777 now, with an additional 93 on order. The B777-300ER model (extended range) seats 360 passengers.
Boeing reported orders for 200 orders last year for the B777 -- a record year. As a result, the company has increased production on the aircraft -- from seven planes produced each month to 8.3. The goal is to produce 100 airplanes each year, starting next year.
This state-of-the-art aircraft is configured for international flight. If you are interested in becoming a pilot for an international airline, contact
