Spirit Airlines Needs Pilots
Spirit Airlines needs pilots! The Miramar, Florida, headquartered airline is expanding its fleet of Airbus twin-engine jets and is now recruiting more pilots.
Spirit Airlines also opened a new crew base in Las Vegas, Nevada, at McCarran International Airport, where about 100 employees will be based. New hires for Las Vegas will include pilots, flight attendants and mechanics. It crried over one million passengers to and from Las Vegas in 2011.
The airline is also taking delivery of seven new jets in 2012. Spirit has been flying aircraft in the Airbus 320 family, including the A319s (145 passengers), the A320 (178 passengers) and the A321 (216 passengers).
Spirit Airlines also has bases in Fort lauderdale, Detroit and Atlantic City. In 2011 the airline added flights to Los Angeles, San Diego, and Oakland, California, plus Portland, Oregon, and Dallas, Texas.
