Upcoming Air Shows

1 1 November 20, 2010 in Blog

If you love aviation, a big thrill — and a great learning experience — is to attend an air show.  Whether it's a large or show, local or international, it is bound to be entertaining and informative.  Most are open to the public.  Seek out any air show that may be nearby. However, if you get the opportunity to visit one of the bigger international air shows and exhibitions, you will not be disappointed.

Here's a 2011 list of some of the largest and most famous:

Australian International Airshow 2011 — March 1-6, 2011 at Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Shanghai Air Show 2011 — April 13-15, 2011 in Shanghai, China.

The 49th International Paris Air Show – June 20-26,2011  Paris, France.

2011 AirVenture, EAA — July 25-31, 2011 Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA

Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) — September 22-24, Hartford, Connecticut, USA

And after you attend an air show, if you want to learn more about learning to fly yourself, Phoenix East Aviation's knowledgeable admissions officers can ready to answer your questions.  Start by checking out www.pea.com.
