US Airline Market Growing

Wednesday, January 07, 2009

Phoenix East Aviation is pleased to report that the latest figures show that the US domestic market is showing signs of more rapid growth. In August of last year (2008), passenger numbers were up a strong 7%. The last time growth was above 4% in a month was back in September 2005.

Since the beginning of 2008, Southwest Airlines has been extending its market share lead over nearest rival American Airlines. In January the gap was 2.8% and by August 2008 it reached 4.5%. Southwest was responsible for carrying 15.54% of all US domestic passengers. AirTran's market share has risen from 3% the beginning of 2008 to 3.8%.

Why is Phoenix East Aviation pleased to report this growth?  Because that means that you as a new pilot have even more opportunities.

Phoenix East was a superior choice for my training. I am so glad I chose Phoenix East. They made my training enjoyable, fast and extremely professional staff quaranteed step by step training for towards your FAA licenses. After graduating from the school they gave me opportunity to work as an instructor, build up my experience and fly in their charter department. I have to give them all credit where I am today, flying widebody jet for domestic and international operations for one of the largest airlines in the world. They truly made my goal reachable and my lifelong dream came true. Before you deside your flight school, I truly recommend you to contact Phoenix East before making that choice.
