If you decide to train at Phoenix East Aviaton, when you arrive, you may fly into the Orlando, Florida, airport. It's about one hour away from Daytona Beach; you can easily take a shuttle bus from the airport in Orlando to Phoenix East Aviation. Orlando is a beautiful airport and the 10th largest airport in the US. According to OAG magazine, most planes land from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Newark (New Jersey), Detroit (Michigan) and New York. Atlanta (Georgia) is a major hub and a source of "indirect" traffic to Orlando.

Philadelphia - AirTran with 28, Southwest with 46 and US Airways with 55. New York Newark Airport - Continental with 70 and jetBlue with 33. New York JKF Airport - American with 7, Delta with 29 and jetBlue with 70. Detroit - AirTran with 14, Northwest with 49, Southwest with 7 and Spirit with 14 weekly departures.
