ATP Program I

Program Includes: FAR 135 VFR Ground School and Aircraft Training, FAR 135 IFR Ground School and Aircraft Training, Advanced Systems Training, Glass Cockpit Training, Crew Resource Management Training, Human Factors Training, and the Airline Transport Pilot License.

The Airline Transport Pilot is the highest license a pilot can achieve. A minimum of 1500 flight hours is required. Pre-requisites are completion of Commercial, Instrument, Multi-Engine and Instructor Ratings (CFI & CFII). Utilizing the Instructor Rating, the pilot is qualified to join Phoenix East as a paid flight instructor to further build flight time and experience (International students must have a valid work authorization through the Department of Homeland Security).

Pilots will also be trained under F.A.R. Part 135 to become single and multi-engine charter pilots. The ATP Program has a greater emphasis on multi-engine crew coordination and includes the CRM/Human Factors course. The Glass Cockpit Course trains the pilot to manage today's aircraft advanced systems. ATP Program I qualifies the pilot in multi-engine aircraft with knowledge of advanced turbine systems.

At the end of this program the pilot will be trained for the Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. This program will make the pilot ATP Qualified in multi-engine aircraft with knowledge of advance turbine systems. Start your ATP Pilot Training Today, Contact PEA.

Phoenix East made dreams come true. As a former flight student and flight instructor at Phoenix East Aviation, I have to give PEA all the credit for making my dreams come true. Phoenix East provided me with very professional and timely flight training. Included in my course was the B-727 airline training program that prepared me for the big jets and an airline job. The fact that I was given the opportunity to work as an instructor after graduation made me obtain the necessary experience and flight hours to become eligible for an airline job. In my Scandinavian Airlines interview, the Captain made a great point of me being a graduate of Phoenix East Aviation. He said that he had seen a lot of highly qualified applicants come from Phoenix East. Well, I got the job. Today I’m a First Officer on an MD-88 for Scandinavian Airlines and I love it.
