Professional Program I

Program Includes: Commercial License, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Certified Flight Instructor Rating, and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Rating.

Prerequisite: Private License. Student may begin Professional I Program immediately upon achieving Private Pilot License.

Designed for the pilot who wishes to obtain Commercial License with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings. The student will also be trained to receive the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Ratings (CFII). Upon completion, the pilot is qualified to be a Flight Instructor in a single-engine aircraft and teach students to be licensed Private, Commercial or Instrument-rated pilots. These ratings are extremely helpful for the pilot who desires to advance his/her flight time and flight experience. The Diamond DA-42 and Piper Seneca PA-34 systems ground school prepares the student to operate within a complex, multi-engine glass cockpit environment, similar to what is being used in today’s advanced commercial aircraft. Aircraft flown includes the new Diamond DA-42 and Piper Seneca PA-34 twin engine, as well as the Cessna C-172SP and Decathlon 8KCAB.

The Professional I Program also includes the Unusual Attitude and Upset Recovery Training Course, which provides important training for students who plan to be professional pilots. It is a rigorous combination of hands-on maneuver-based and scenario-based training profiles which enhance flying skills. Most important, this course also improves the pilot's decision-making skills in emergency situations.

"I have worked at TAAG Angola Airlines for four years now. I left PEA, and I got straight into the classic B737-200, by passing all the exams. After a year-and-a-half, Iwas promoted as a B737-700 First Officer, which I flew for another year-and-a-half. At the moment I have been flying around the world in the brand new B777-300 and the B777-200 as well.

I owe a big thanks to the PEA team for taking me this far, without all that 'hard' training, I wouldn't have passed those tests that easily. Therefore, I wouldn't have gotten this far. THANK YOU PHOENIX EAST."
